Believing the white substance was crystal meth, the police arrested the man for drug possession. The man tried to explain to the police that the substance was glaze from a Krispie Kreme doughnut, but they did not believe him. He was only released from custody weeks later after crime lab tests showed that it was actually a sugar-based substance. He is now planning to sue the police department.
